What we look into
- Electrical fault finding: broken wires, short circuits, corroded connectors and earth faults.
- Engine electrics diagnosis, for example ignition and fuel delivery: no start, misfires, hesitation and lack of power.
- Airbag systems: warning lights, sensors, seat and steering wheel connections.
- Immobiliser: the car will not start, the key is not recognised or the immobiliser will not release.
- Network and communication faults, when control units stop talking to each other.
- Warning lights that stay on or come and go.
How diagnosis works
- Symptoms. When the fault appears, how often, and what has already been done.
- Codes and data. We read the fault memories and live data of the control units.
- Measurement. Voltages, earths, signals, and how sensors and actuators behave.
- Result. We tell you what we found and what the repair takes, and agree the next step.
An intermittent fault is the hardest to find. If you know when it happens (cold, in the rain, driving over a pothole), tell us, because it speeds up the work.
